This body of work is mainly from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The work was shot over five years. Many of the view points are outside the National Park but are in the Kabab National Forest. You can get to many of these areas in a car if you don't mind 20 plus miles of dirt roads. Others view points require a high clearence vehicle and during the monson season I would recomend a 4x4 vehicle to get though the mud. Many of these points you can camp on the edge of the canyon. The best season is during the monsoon which starts about July and ends in September. The fall can be spectacular and starts about late September to October. The elevation is 8000 to 9000 feet so it is very cool in the summer.
