I have just recently started documenting Scottsdale. The city is very clean and I enjoy going down and photographing the arts district. There is much to see and photographed. However it seems a bit too commercialized. It doesn't process that small town feel that I enjoy when I am in downtown Glendale or Mesa. Scottsdale tries to capture that old west feel but to me it is more like Hollywood Old West instead of the Authentic Old West. I do enjoy all the sculptures found in the arts district and in the Scottsdale Center of the Arts. The Scottsdale Center of the Arts is one of the nicer places to do outside portraits of people. The city is a great place to photograph and well worth spending some time there.
