I first started photographing in this area in 1993. The swirls patterns in the water are caused by leaves moving in a pool of water and exposing the sheet of film from 3 to 5 minutes. None of these are digitally altered in Adobe Photoshop. This area is off the beaten track in Arizona. The area is north of Roosevelt Lake and close to Globe Arizona. The area contains many big tooth maple trees. Fall starts from the third week of October to first week in November depending on the year
