West Fork is located in Oak Creek Canyon north of Sedona Arizona. West Fork is a tributary to Oak Creek. The hike along West Fork is easy for the most part. Bring shoes that you don't mind getting wet since the trail cross the creek many times. After about three miles you need to wade or swim through some of the pools and the trail is a little tougher to follow. Fall is usually the second or third week in October. Many of the maples can go a brilliant red. Best time to hike West Fork is on the weekdays since it is a poplar trail and many people visit it.
